I never would have guessed that about Katy Perry. Her song came across the TV the other day, and my 4 year old daughter started asking questions...we turned it very quickly! I'm not ready to have the "talks" quite yet. Let her stay innocent for as long as possible.
Ebert made some insightful points. I'm a big fan of redemption stories, Where the Heart Is with Natalie Portman is my favorite.
BrownGirlSpeak, yikes! And people say that music doesn't effect young kids. It really does. Kids definitely need that those tender years of innocence, especially with all the crazy stuff that happens in this world.
